I brought this up so many times before but we are still getting so many calls about the same subject, so here we go again:
Whether you are a subscriber of HamEstate or not, PLEASE advise your loved ones to NEVER sell off your ham radio equipment until there is a commitment to remove all antennas and towers BEFORE anything else gets removed from your station. We get so many calls about this. A widow would call stating that your “ham friends” came and scooped up all your easy to remove items but left your wife and family with the towers and antennas in the yard. I get so upset with these calls. They even take the rotor control boxes but they lack the decency to remove the items your family will be burdened with.
Do the right thing – Inform your family now while you still can!
