Equipment Sales Terms
Please read the following terms before purchasing from our online store:
- Most of the equipment in our store is used and was removed from shacks / store rooms of ham radio operators.
- We test most equipment for basic functionality including receive and transmit. However, we do not have time to connect it to a service monitor for detailed testing. If we had to do this, prices would go up substantially. WE DO NOT TEST VINTAGE EQUIPMENT!
- If equipment is untested, the listing will clearly state that the unit is untested.
- If equipment is not operational, the listing will clearly state that the unit is NOT operational.
- All vintage equipment, parts and “boat anchors” are sold entirely “as is” with no guarantees or returns excepted. Vintage means any piece of equipment older than 5 years. We do not open up vintage equipment to inspect parts or provide part numbers etc.
- All pictures are of the actual item you are purchasing so pay close attention and be sure that you are satisfied with the condition of equipment and accessories before you purchase the item.
- We offer a 10 day return policy on non vintage equipment where the buyer will pay return shipping to us and a 20% restocking fee will be charged. No exceptions here.
- If you purchase an item and open the covers or attempt repair or modify it in any way, the 14 day return policy will be voided.
- We photograph testing of equipment and if we have proof that the unit was operational when it left our facility, we will not be taking a return if it is claimed to be faulty.
- We typically ship within one business day but sometimes special packing is required, so it might take two days before your item ships. Tracking numbers will be sent to you when your item ships. Vintage equipment takes longer to prep for shipping.
- Free shipping and shipping costs listed are for the continental US only. Shipping outside the CONUS will be extra. Please contact us for a shipping quote.
- If a listing indicates no original boxes, please assume we do not have them. We will however professionally pack your item.
